Four vehicles were clocked speeding through Gainford, near Barnard Castle, when a speed check operation was carried out on Friday, January 4.
Police say the speed of 170 vehicles was checked during the hour-long speedwatch operation. A similar operation on Wednesday, January 9, saw the speed of 157 vehicles checked in an hour, with three recorded over the limit.
FLOWER POWER: A five-week Introduction to Floristry course begins on Thursday, February 14, at Teesdale School, Barnard Castle. The first session, from 6pm to 8pm, will include registration. The course then breaks for the school holiday and resumes after half term on Thursday, February 28, with the final sessions on March 7, March 14 and March 21.
