The front and rear nearside tyres of a BMW were stabbed and slashed while it was parked in Priestman Road in Newton Aycliffe. The incident took place between 5pm on January 5 and 11am the following day. Anyone with information is asked to contact Newton Aycliffe Neighbourhood Police Team on 101.

COMMUNITY PROJECT: More volunteers are needed to help create an outdoor community space at Greenfield Community and Arts Centre in Newton Aycliffe. WINDOW SMASHED: Between 5pm on Thursday, January 3, and 10.30am the following day a stone was thrown through a rear ground floor window of a house in Rowan Place, Newton Aycliffe, causing it to smash. During the early hours of Sunday, January 6, a brick was thrown at a window at the same property but no damage was caused.
