Free shuttle train service offered during road closure

A FREE shuttle train service is being offered during a three-day road closure.
The Wensleydale Railway, in conjunction with Dales and District Buses, will offer the service while the road is closed in Bedale, North Yorkshire, from January 12 to 14 for the reconstruction of the level crossing.
Trains will depart Leeming Bar at 7.50am, 8.20am, 8.50am, 9:20am, 9.50am, 12.20pm, 12.50pm, 4.20pm, 4.50pm, 5.20pm, 5.50pm and 6.20pm.
Trains will leave Bedale at 8.10am, 8.40am, 9.10am, 9.40am, 12.10pm, 12.40pm, 4.10pm, 4.40pm, 5.10pm, 5.40pm, 6.10pm and 6.40pm.
Dales and District service 73 will call at Leeming Bar and Bedale stations to connect with the trains on Saturday, January 12 and Monday, January 14.
Dales and District will be operating a revised service 73 timetable on the Saturday and Monday. On the Sunday, service 856 will operate as normal, but will not call at the stations. Leeming Bar station car park will be available for people wishing to leave their car and commute to Bedale on the shuttle service.
The public car parks close to Bedale station will be open as usual.
