MAN HURT:

An 18-year-old man suffered minor injuries in a disturbance at around 10.20pm on Saturday in Parliament Square, in Hebburn, between a group of men.
The injured man was taken to hospital for treatment. His injuries are not life-threatening.
Four people have been arrested in connection with the incident and are helping police with their enquiries.
