Brassed Off band to perform at North-East theatre

BRASS BAND: The Grimethorpe Colliery Band, best known for their appearance in the film Brassed Off, return to the North-East in a new concert tour. The band will appear at Darlington’s Civic Theatre on Saturday, January 26, at 7.30pm. Tickets cost between £18.50 and £20. Call the box office on 01325-486555.
ROAD WORKS: Slight delays are expected on the A1M between junctions 57 and 58, near Darlington, for safety barrier repair works overnight from 8pm on Monday, January 7, and 5.30am on Tuesday. During the repair work there will be one lane open north and southbound.
