Northallerton Ramblers will be walking around Old Byland, near Thirsk, on January 17. The seven-mile walk will take in Nettledale and Scawton. Those wanting to take part should meet at Old Byland, Thirsk at 10am. For more details ring Dave on 01845-523613.
ABSTRACT EXHIBITION: Helmsley Arts Centre is hosting an exhibition by award-winning abstract artist, Julia Burns. The exhibition, entitled Abstracts and Hens, will run until Friday, February 1. The display is open to the public every day except Monday.
