WARD SURGERY: County councillors Richard Bell and Barbara Harrison will hold a ward surgery at Romaldkirk Village Hall on Friday, January 11, between 5pm and 6.30pm.
HALL FACELIFT: Volunteers are being urged to lend a helping hand redecorating Gainford Village Hall on January 19 and 20. The village hall committee is hoping to brighten up the two main downstairs rooms. There will be jobs suitable for all ages and levels of decorating expertise. The committee also hopes to replace the curtains.
CRIME CONERNS: The next Staindrop Police and Communities Together (PACT) and Neighbourhood Watch meeting will take place on Tuesday, January 8, at the Scarth Hall.
