Police appeal after Saltburn handbag snatch

POLICE investigating a handbag snatch in Saltburn are appealing for information.
A woman was parked outside of The Woodlands on Victoria Road. As she reached into her car, a man rode past on a bike and grabbed her black handbag from her hand before riding off into a nearby wooded area.
He was wearing a black hooded sweater with the hood up and black bottoms.
Anyone with information should contact PC Janette Overdale of Redcar Police on non-emergency number 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
