Barnard Castle movie maker to help promote Teesdale Action Partnership
3:22pm Sunday 30th December 2012 in News By Stuart Laundy, Reporter (Barnard Castle & Teesdale)
A YOUNG County Durham filmmaker has been commissioned to produce a promotional video highlighting the work of the Teesdale Action Partnership (TAP).
Barnard Castle-based Oliver Smith, who runs Ambitious Motion Pictures, has been asked to produce the short film with the help of young people from local youth groups interested in movie making.
TAP co-ordinator Craig Morgan explained: “One thing we have recognised is that we need to do a bit more to promote ourselves.
“One way to do this is to produce something we can put on websites, Facebook, etc.”
He added: “It is going to be a five-six minute film highlighting some of the good things we have done.
“Hopefully we are blazing a trail for other area action partnerships across County Durham to do something different.”
It is hoped the promotional film will be ready by the spring.
