RESIDENTS in part of Teesdale will get a chance to raise crime concerns with local police early in the new year.
The next Evenwood and Ramshaw Police and Communities Together (PACT) meeting will take place in Lands Village Hall on Wednesday, January 2, starting at 6.30pm.
PC Heather Fenwick and PCSO Sarah Downs will attend the meeting.
A spokesman for the Bishop Auckland Neighbourhood Police Team said: “If you haven't been to a meeting before, it is an opportunity to meet your local beat officers, discuss issues and help set the priorities in your area for the month ahead.
“It is also an opportunity to find out what work we have been doing in your area and receive updates to current priorities.”
Holding the meeting in Lands also fulfills a promise made to Evenwood and Barony Parish Council to hold PACT events around the area in an effort to attract more people to them.
