Dad's the biggest Christmas worry - survey

BUYING presents for dad is Durham shoppers’ biggest festive stress, a survey suggests.
More than half of the 100 people who took part in a survey in the Prince Bishops shopping centre, in Durham City, said they were stuck for ideas for their father.
Shoppers were also asked other Christmas-related questions.
Nearly two thirds said they would be eating turkey with all the trimmings for Christmas dinner, while a third said they would be skipping the Brussels sprouts.
Nearly a quarter of working people admitted to taking annual leave to do their shopping ahead of the busy festive period.
The total spend on Christmas presents ranged from £150 to £300; and nearly two thirds of people said they had done some Christmas shopping online.
Eighty-nine per cent of people said they would be prioritising presents for children this year.
