Man charged in connection with Middlesbrough rapes

POLICE have tonight charged a man in connection with two reported rapes in Middlesbrough.
In the first incident, a 19-year-old said she had been raped at an address near to Tollesby Road on Wednesday, August 8.
A 20-year-old reported being raped in the same area on Wednesday, October 17.
Earlier today Cleveland Police confirmed they had arrested a 22-year-old local man in connection with the allegations.
The force said tonight he has been charged with both offences, and will appear in court tomorrow morning.
