Teenager charged with alleged knifepoint robbery

A TEENAGER has appeared in court charged in connection with an alleged knifepoint robbery at a North-East shop last week.
Christopher Thomas Duce, 18, from the Shildon area, was charged with robbery and possession of a sharply-bladed or pointed instrument.
He appeared before magistrates in Peterlee and was remanded in custody to appear before Durham Crown Court on December 6.
It follows an incident at the One Stop Shop, in Byerley Road, Shildon, County Durham, on Wednesday, November 28.
