First published in News

Civil servants are expected to take part in a day of action on Friday to protest against Government plans to change their working conditions as part of a review.

The Public and Commercial Services Union, which represents 25,000 members in the North-east, has called lunchtime demonstrations outside a number of Government offices, including Benton Park View, in Newcastle, and the Land Registry Offices in Durham City.
