YOUNG Thai boxers from across the country will compete in the North East this weekend to win points for a place on a national team.
Around 100 fighters aged between six and 17-years-old will compete in the UK Junior Muay Thai Superleague competition at Newton Aycliffe Leisure Centre on Saturday (December 1) from 11.30am.
The North East will be represented by fighters from Shildon and Darlington and all competitors will be fighting for points to help them win a place in a UK Thai boxing team which competes abroad.
Tickets to watch the competition cost £10 for adults and £8 for children.
