AN 11-YEAR-OLD girl suffered head injuries in a car accident while walking home from school.
The girl was involved in a collision with a red VW Polo on Walworth Road, Billingham, at around 3.50pm on Tuesday (November 27).
She was taken to the University Hospital of North Tees with a broken arm and head injury and was described as being in a comfortable condition.
Any witnesses should contact PC Tina Lackenby of the Cleveland and Durham Specialist Operations Unit on non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 213880.
