The stolen trike
POLICE are on the hunt for a trike stolen from a home in Bishop Auckland last week.
The vehicle was stolen from outside a house in the Etherley Lane area of the town overnight on Friday, November 23.
A Saab 9-3 saloon which was also stolen during the incident was later recovered in the Woodhouse Close area of the town.
The distinctive moped, which is silver in colour and branded Nippi Trippy, is likely to have damage to the front where a facia panel came loose and was left at the scene.
Anyone with information that might help police with their enquiries is asked to contact Detective Constable Dave Rooney at Bishop Auckland CID on 101, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800-555-111.
