Motorist injured after car leaves road

MAN INJURED: A motorist had to be rescued from his vehicle by firefighters after it left the road on Sunday night. The incident happened in Roundhill Road, Hurworth Moor, near Darlington, at about 7.15pm. The man was taken to Darlington Memorial Hospital. The extent of his injuries are not known.
