County Durham school is in top ten in country

A COUNTY Durham primary school is the 10th best in the country, according to The Sunday Times.
Shincliffe C of E (Controlled) primary School, near Durham City, is featured in the top 10 primary schools in the North-East and Yorkshire in The Sunday Times Schools Guide 2012.
The Royal Grammar School Junior School in Newcastle is the top independent preparatory school in the North of England according to the same newspaper.
The Sunday Times will publish details of the top 100 independent preparatory schools and the top 500 primary schools in England this Sunday.
