CINEMA MASTERCLASS: Oscar-winning film producer Lord David Puttnam will give a cinema masterclass that will be beamed from his studio in Ireland to an audience at Sunderland University tomorrow, Friday November 23. The lecture, in the cinema of the David Puttnam Media Centre at St Peter’s riverside campus from 3pm to 4.30pm, is free but places must be booked with Andrea Robertson, 0191-515 2634, or andrea.robertson@sunderland.ac.uk.
CHRISTMAS CAROLS: Age UK Sunderland will hold its annual carol service in Sunderland Minster on Wednesday, December 5 at 2pm. Light refreshments will be served afterwards.
