A COUNTY Durham shopping centre will offer late night shopping to coincide with the Polar Express’ visits.
The Durham Dales Centre in Stanhope, which is home to a collection of independent shops, will be open until 7pm on Monday, November 26, Tuesday, December 4 and Wednesday, December 12.
The Polar Express will be running on the Weardale Railway from Stanhope Station until the end of December with more than 20,000 people booked on so far.
Shops at the Durham Dales Centre include a luxury chocolate shop, card shop and arts and crafts and jewellery stores.
The centre’s tea shop will also be open until 7pm on the selected days.
