Stanley man in court on firearms and motoring offences

A 28-YEAR-OLD man from the Stanley area will appear before Peterlee Magistrates Court in the morning (SAT) charged with firearms offences and dangerous driving.

The man was arrested on Thursday evening as part of a planned police operation in Consett.

Three other men who were arrested as part of the operation have been bailed until January pending further police enquiries.
