GIRLS and boys packed their week at nursery with fundraising events expected to make more than £200 for Children in Need.
Today (Friday, November 17) youngsters at Pixley Dell Day Nursery, in Spennymoor, County Durham, donned fancy dress to take part in a sponsored walk in the town.
On Monday they made a donation to wear yellow, on Tuesday took cuddly toys to nursery for a teddy bears' picnic, wore pyjamas on Wednesday and on Thursday sported funny hairstyles.
Nursery manager, Leah Hornsby, said: “We always try to engage in as much as possible, especially Children in Need.
“The children know it is fun and a kind thing to do and the older ones understand that life isn’t like it is here and that some children aren’t as lucky as them so its good to help.”
