THE FORMER chairman of Cleveland Police Authority has been charged with perverting the course of justice.
Dave McLuckie was arrested by officers attached to Operation Sacristy on October 16.
The 51-year-old was already on bail in connection with the operation, a criminal investigation into corruption within Cleveland Police Authority.
He has now been bailed to appear at Newcastle Magistrates’ Court on Friday November 30.
The charge comes a day after details of several outstanding charges against former Cleveland Police Chief Constable Sean Price were released.
