HAIRY CORNFLAKE: Dave Lee Travis
FORMER BBc radio presenter Dave Lee Travis has been arrested by police on suspicion of sexual abuse.
Travis, known as the Hairy Cornflake, was arrested as part of Operation Yewtree by detectives investigating allegations against Jimmy Savile and others.
The 67-year-old was arrested at his home in Bedfordshire at 7.45am.
Two women have claimed they were sexually assaulted by the former DJ and Top of the Pops presenter.
Vivien Creegor, 55, said he jiggled her breasts while she was on air on Radio 4 and another woman said he put his hand up her skirt.
Travis has denied the claims. At the time the allegations were made, he said: "I hate being tarred with the same brush as Savile.”
