PRIMARY school pupils from across Newton Aycliffe have enjoyed an exciting series of sport sessions at Woodham Academy.
The Academy teamed up with professional sports coaches from Education Enterprise Legacy to offer specialist dance, golf and gymnastic classes during the half term holidays.
The sessions complement the term time activities already on offer and are aimed at easing the transition from primary to secondary school and promoting a healthy and active lifestyle.
Lewis Marr, managing director of Education Enterprise Legacy, said: "The children have been fantastic. Their enthusiasm towards the programme has been the most fulfilling part of our journey here at Woodham Academy.”
