Darlington teenager suffers neck and back injuries as car lands in field off A167 at Great Smeaton

A 17-YEAR-OLD driver suffered neck and back injuries after her car landed in a field.
The woman, from Darlington, was travelling in a Black Ford Ka on the A167 at Great Smeaton, between Darlington and Northallerton, when it left the road.
Police say the teenager, who was driving towards Darlington, swerved to avoid hitting an oncoming blue five-door vehicle at about 2.30pm on Tuesday, November 6.
She was treated at the scene and taken to Darlington Memorial Hospital, though her injuries are not serious.
