POLICE CHASE: Following a high-speed police chase through Norton on Monday October 29, a 17-year-old was charged with a number of offences including aggravated vehicle taking, dangerous driving and criminal damage. He was also charged with a separate offence of burglary and a further offence of aggravated vehicle taking when he appeared before Teesside Magistrates Court today (THURS NOV 8).

ROAD ROLLER STOLEN: A yellow and black BOMAG 120 road roller has been stolen from a compound on the Coast Road, opposite Green Lane in Redcar. It was driven along the seafront path to a waiting vehicle between the hours of 5.30pm on Tuesday, November 6 and 7am on Wednesday, November 7. CHARITY GIG: Ex-The Spinners singer Jacqueline McDonald will appear at a charity event alongside folk band Skyran on Friday, November 30.
