THE following cases were heard today (November 8) at Darlington Magistrates' Court:

ALLEGED WOUNDING: Garry Donald, 19, of Epsom Court, Red Hall, Darlington, entered no plea to a charge of wounding.

The allegation follows an incident in Tubwell Row, Darlington, on September 5.

His case was adjourned until January 3, when it is expected to be committed to crown court.

PHONE DAMAGE: Stuart Atkinson, 30, of Rockingham Street, Darlington, pleaded not guilty to a charge of criminal damage to a mobile phone on October 11.

His trial will take place on January 24 at Newton Aycliffe Magistrates’ Court.

FRAUD ALLEGATION: Steven Mitchell, 31, of Shelley Road, Darlington, appeared in court charged with one count of fraud by false representation.

He entered no plea and the case was adjourned until January 3, when it will be committed to crown court.

CAR DENIAL: Scott Guest, 19, of Severn Way, Darlington, denied one charge of criminal damage to a Volkswagen Passat on August 17.

His trial was set for January 24 at Darlington Magistrates’ Court, and he was given unconditional bail.
