THREE men arrested after an early hours' stabbing incident at a social club will appear in court tomorrow.
It follows the alleged multiple stabbing of a man at Castletown Workingmen's Club, in Sunderland, early yesterday.
Officers were called to the premises, in Castle View, Castletown, at around 1.15am after a report was received of a man having been stabbed.
Police said it emerged that the 20-year-old victim suffered several stab wounds to both his front and back in the incident.
He was taken for treatment to Sunderland Royal Hospital, but his injuries were described as, "not life threatening". His condition remained "stable" today.
Sixty-one-year-old Alan Appleby, of Brandling Street, Roker, Sunderland, his son, also Alan Appleby, 18, of The Villas, Castletown, and a 16-year-old male youth, are all accused of wounding with intent.
They have each been remanded to appear before Sunderland magistrates tomorrow.
