Every Allstars player gave there all today and deserved there victory .

Under 16's Finally get a win.

It was a cold and windy Sunday afternoon travelling to Ferryhill, the All-stars were down to bare bones with only 11 determined lads.

All-stars found themselves 1-0 down at half time and within 5 mins of kicking off the second half they were 2 - 0 down, but good team spirit and determination showed as Lee Gibbon notched twice and Jamie bullock also helped himself to one, a good strong midfield with Jack Johns and MOM Tom McCabe proved to much for Ferryhill as the All-stars came away with a well deserved victory ( 1st win since oct 07 ), a good all round team performance.

well done lads.

Ferryhill - 2 All-stars - 3.

barnard castle away league 1-2 scorers danny raw and sam stockdale mom nathan bowman report allstars under 9s sponsored by stone technical services and cleveland bridge were playing away to second place barnard castle. the game started with allstars pressing barnard castle back into a strong wind and allstars went close when sam stockdale found himself in space only to put his shot wide. from the goal kick barnard castle played a ball through allstars defence and the ball found its way into the back of the net from a neat finish.

in the second half allstars created chance after chance but were frustrated by some poor finishing and good goal keeping. with seven minutes to go it was mom nathan bowman who stamped his authority on the game with a driving run, taking on three barnard castle players before playing a lovely waited ball to danny raw who connected with a crisp shot that the keeper could not hold on to. with only two minutes left it was all allstars and when nathan bowman played a lofted pass to sam stockdale he finished the move with a superb lob with the keeper stranded, allstars battled hard and deserved to win a hard fought physical encounter.

Under 10 Colts 1 - 2 Newton Aycliffe Youth CentreGOALSCORERS:Mills M.O.M:George Mills REPORT: A close game with the luck falling on Aycliffe's side. Allstars were against the wind and the slope in the first half and held their own despite Aycliffe hitting the post. Mills was upended in centre field while on an attacking run, but no foul was given. This left Aycliffe with numbers up and were able to score. The second half saw Allstars piling the pressure on with a series of corners and goal mouth scrambles which eventually resulted in a goal for George Mills. Allstars were inspired and fought well with striker Kieran Stannard helping to clear the lines and push for a winner up front. In the last minute Aycliffe scrambled a goal which Mills couldn't clear despite a gallant effort.

Another encouraging team performance deserved at least a draw. Man of the Match was George Mills for his overall contribution.

Second game was a 1-0 defeat following a goal at the death again from a solitary Aycliffe chance of any note, but with Allstars making all the chances with flowing football only interrupted by last ditch tackles and good goalkeeping. Ross Griffiths was full of running and attacking minded play which earned him Man of the Match.
