Under 10 Colts4 - 0 St Francis 2000 B GOALSCORERS:Stannard (2) Mills ,Griffiths M.O.M: EVERYONE!!!!

REPORT: Allstars were well motivated for this game and keen for a good result and it showed from the start both in terms of attitude and positive play. After 5 minutes Allstars were ahead and putting St Francis under increasing pressure with a number of shots and well made passes which cut the defence open. By half time Kieran Stannard and George Mills had notched up very good goals with Chris Jary coming close from distance too. The second half saw more pressure from St Francis but keeper Jack Darragh made excellent saves from distance pushing the ball over the bar, as well as Chris Jary heading clear on two occasions. Allstars still made chances and Ross Griffiths tapped in from a yard towards the end of the game.

In a hard fought game the former Allstars spirit shone through both on the field and through the rest of the squad on the sidelines. A superb team performance and a well deserved win.

It was a case of Men (not Man) of the Match as everyone did their jobs and put in superb effort.

Bedale vs allstars u11's away league Scorers;arron franklin 1craig edwards 3scott pattison 1connor dummett 1 mom;arron franklin Allstars sponsored by steve robson flooring travelled to bedale Allstars played with the wind behind them in the first half and started brightly playing well from back to front and had a couple of chances to score but bedale defended well and had a few chances themselves but when allstars got a corner which was played short and an excellent pass found mom arron franklin who scored with a brilliant header. Craig Edwards put allstars 2-0 up with a screamer of a shot from outside the box. Second half allstars played in to the wind but played superb passing football keeping the ball on the floor and it wasn't long before craig edwards scored again placing the ball around the keeper.

Bedale troubled allstars defence a couple of times but allstars pushed on and a great pass was put through for scott pattison who stuck his goal well. Craig Edwards got his hattrick when he spun around and hit the ball across the keeper and in to the bottom corner. Allstars where totally dominant and bedale had no chance with the final goal when bedale goalkeeper cleared a shot but pushed the ball in the path of Connor Dummett who calmly put the ball in to the net.

Well done to both teams for a great game of football.

The goal gave the Colts a 2-1 win but Richmond can feel unfortunate not to have taken anything from the game.
