Monkton League Counts Cost of Lethal Johnson

The Monkton League Hierarchy were assessing the cost of damage by the potent feet of Alex Johnson. During the demolition of Hebburn Reyrolle, man of the match Johnson not only burst the net on the Reyrolle goal but he also destroyed the goal stantion.
Spectators ran for cover as the goal exploded under the sheer velocity of the football. Manager Paul McCance was treated for shock and several onlookers were left dumbfounded.
The goals rained in for the team that is making headlines every week. Louis Kelman scored a superb four goals,McKenzie Milner got one as did Matthew Lumley and Sam Overal. This was a terrific team performance and everyone was reported as being outstanding.
Goalkeeper Matthew "Masher" Lovett aka "the Cat" was left to hibernate as the team just kept on pushing forward.
The discussion on the sidelines was the likeness of Alex Johnson to his dad in every way except football ability where his father leaves a lot to be desired. A close friend of the family commented "thank god Alex can play like he does and not like his dad". The wonders of nature!
