Matthew "Masher" Lovett in goal had another game with not a lot to do but still managed to pull off the save of the day when he turned mid flight to save a deflected shot in the first half to keep another clean sheet.
One of McKenzie's goals was a superb header which is rare at this age. It came from a well taken corner courtesy of Alex Johnson who is earning a reputation as a corner delivery specialist. Just like his dad! someone said, before I corrected them, "No that's a pizza delivery specialist".

Beamish battled hard to get back in and it was always going to be a close game. One of the Beamish goals came straight from the corner spot and went in just under the right angle of the far post!
