Cup Results (final score after handicap in brackets)

Easingwold 80-76 TU Lions A (180-76)
TU Lions B 34-99 Richmond A (132-198)
Hartlepool Heat B 65-58 Hartlepool Hornets (85-58)
Richmond B 42-127 Hartlepool Hornets A (146-127)

Richmond Vikings are celebrating both their A and B teams progression to the semi finals of the handicap cup. By far their most impressive result was the overhaul of Lions B by 65pts in regulation. This was a game that should have been a lot closer but Vikings delivered an early blow from which the young Lions could not recover. Only a strong third quarter display by Lions could bring a positive from the game. Richmond were led well by their captain, Jaycie Hall and leading scorer Chris Lyle who hit a game high 36.

The Vikings B side also make the semi final even though they were beaten by 85pts in regulation. The 42pts from Vikings were tripled and then an additional 20pts were added to guide the young side on to the next round.

The young Hartlepool Heat B and experienced Easingwold Vikings make up the quartet for the semi finals with the draw being made very soon.

Easingwold overcame a depleted TU Lions A with Oliver Speight in good form to rank his Easingwold side as one of the favourites for the title.
