THREE high-value mountain bikes have been stolen during a raid on a shop.
The theft happened at Sutton Bank Bikes, at the Sutton Bank visitor centre, on the A170 between Thirsk and Helmsley between 4.30pm and 8.45pm on Sunday.
The offenders forced entry into the shop, before taking off with a Santa Cruz Bronson in olive green, a black Santa Cruz 5010, and a teal-coloured Juliana Furtado C.
Posted on the store's Facebook page, a spokesman wrote: "Another burglary to kick the New Year off!
"Getting pretty tired of these burglaries, as if retail isn't hard enough nowadays."
