Alicia Silverstone has landed a new TV role
Alicia Silverstone is set to star in a new US TV show.
The Clueless star has joined the cast of HR after television bosses spent a year searching for the right actress for the part, reported Deadline.
The 36-year-old will play a human resources director whose approach to life changes after she suffers a head injury.
Production is now set to start on the Lifetime show.
Mum-of-one Alicia is no stranger to the small screen, following roles in programmes such as Miss Match and Suburgatory.
