Kara Tointon won Strictly Come Dancing in 2010
Kara Tointon has revealed she is "really happy" with dancer boyfriend Artem Chigvintsev.
The former EastEnders actress, 29, met Artem, 31, when she competed in - and won - Strictly Come Dancing in 2010, and the pair split their time between their homes in London and Los Angeles.
Kara said: "Meeting Artem was fantastic. We're really happy and everything's going really well.
"I don't like saying too much more than that because I always think you jinx things if you talk about them too much. I just like to go with the flow and let life unfold..."
The actress - who is supporting Galaxy Quick Reads, which are aimed at encouraging more people to get into reading - is also excited about turning 30 this summer.
"I think it's an age where after kidding yourself you're still a teenager, you suddenly think, 'Hey, what happened? - that must mean I'm an adult'," she said.
"But I'm so happy to be in a place where I'm enjoying the work I'm doing, there's nothing better than that, and I feel comfortable in who I am."
