A TIMELESS tour de force of human behaviour and psychology will find a contemporary new home in Rhyl and Prestatyn.

Swedish playwright August Strindberg’s 1888 play, Miss Julie, will be reimagined as Julie, with an updated script from Polly Stenham, when it is screened live from the National Theatre

Wild and newly single, Julie – played by The Crown’s Vanessa Kirby – throws a late night party as neighbours Jean and Kristina clean up amid the celebration above them.

Crossing the threshold, Julie initiates a power game with Jean, which ultimately descends into a savage fight for survival.

To witness the shocking and fierce relevance of this new take on Strindberg’s naturalist masterpiece, head to the Prestatyn Scala and Vue Rhyl at 7pm on Thursday, September 6.

Tickets for the Vue are £19.54 from myvue.com and £15 at the Scala from merlinprestatyn.admit-one.eu
