FOLLOWING the success of the
number one album All Lost Souls,
James Blunt will play nine shows this
autumn, including the Metro Radio
Arena on Monday October 13.
His current album has so far sold over
600,00 copies in the UK and 3m
worldwide and features the hit single
1973 and the evocative second single
Same Mistake.
On March 24, Blunt releases Carry
You Home, the third single taken from
All Lost Souls. Written by the James
and Max Martin, it features a striking
video by Grammy award-winning
director Jake Nava, whose critically
acclaimed credits include Rolling
Stones and Dido. The video was
filmed in Dorset and is shot in black
and white, perfectly complimenting
the songs themes and mood.
The multi-platinum singer-songwriter
and his band recently toured the UK
throughout January. They are
currently performing in the US as part
of a worldwide tour that will see Blunt
play across Europe, South East Asia,
Australia and South Africa.

COUNTRY Music legend Hal Ketchum
performs at The Journal Tyne Theatre,
Newcastle, on Thursday April 25.
Ketcham has appeared on stages with
all the top country greats including
Charlie Pride, Johnny Cash, and Vince
Gill. Garth Brooks has often commented
that Hal has been a big influence on his
career. Hal Ketchum is an accomplished
songwriter and has penned hits for
various top country stars including Trisha
Yearwood, The Mavericks and Leanne
Rimes. However, his real passion lies in
live performances and negotiations are
currently on-going over the possibility of
Ketcham presenting his own show at the
Country Music Hall of Fame.

Marti Pellow begins an intimate UK
tour featuring songs from his new
album, In A Sentimental Mood.
Described by Pellow himself as an
album for lovers, this jazz-infused
record marks a new musical direction
for an extremely versatile star.
The tour takes in Harrogate and
Gateshead and brings the singer back
to the North-East after playing to more
than 100,000 people on the latest Wet
Wet Wet tour which included the
MetroRadio Arena in December.
