Saxophone maestro to appear in region
SAXOPHONE maestro Snake Davis will interrupt
his busy recording schedule to play in the
region this month.
Davis will take up residency at the town hall,
in Stokesley, North Yorkshire, for three nights
later this month to promote his eighth album,
Talking Bird.
Mr Davis has featured on more than 400
tracks in recent years including M-People's
Search For A Hero and Moving On Up, and
Take That's A Million Love Songs. He has
played and recorded with artists including
James Brown, Paul McCartney, The Eurythmics
and Amy Winehouse.
The shows will take place from next Friday
to Sunday and tickets can be booked on 01642-
710270.
Davis will also be giving musical workshops
over the weekend. These are being arranged by
local saxophone teacher Steve Bone who can
be contacted on 07970-375494 for further details
