Michelle Wright: Everything and More (Savannah Records)

IT was during the days of LP releases (remember them) that I was first introduced to Canadian songstress Michelle Wright with an album entitled Do Right By Me.

It was around 1988 and I was then broadcasting for Metro Radio and was so impressed that I selected three songs from it and played them on the show.

With 25 top ten hits behind her and winning Canadian Country Music Awards' Fans Choice Entertainer Of The Year in 1993 and 1995, Wright has re-released a 2006 album on her original Savannah record label.

There was a touch of deja vue as I featured three tracks last Sunday night on my Smooth Radio country show (a first).

Each track has something different to offer which shows to perfection her great vocal range on 12 great songs (two of which she co-wrote).

As a new offering from an artist that has already sold two million or more albums and received 30 major awards in both Canada and the USA, I'm sure that this album will gain her many more fans around the world.
