SUNDERLAND’S Stadium of Light is set to host the North-East’s biggest ever pop show, as AEG Live brings some of the UK’s bestloved pop acts to the region for a summer music event.

Top boy band JLS headline the North-East Live event on Saturday, June 22, while X Factor winner James Arthur is one of three acts representing the region in the show. Fellow North- East X Factor stars Amelia Lily, who finished third in the show’s 2011 series, and Little Mix – who won the same series – are also lined up for the family-friendly five-hour extravaganza.

The Wanted, Rita Ora, Conor Maynard, Stooshe and Union J complete the line-up for this hot ticket music extravaganza.

The Northern Echo’s What’s On has a pair of tickets for the event for the winner of an easy-to-enter competition. The prize is for two pitch standing/unreserved seating tickets.

Please note that anyone under 14 years old must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. No babes in arms are permitted for safety reasons.
