The members of Eilertsen’s original quartet – saxophonist Tore Brunborg, guitarist Thomas T.
Dahl, drummer Olavi Louihivouri and Eilertsen himself (on bass) – may be better known as members of Tomasz Stanko’s and Tord Gustavsen’s bands.
They’re clearly a well-integrated group who are now joined by Finnish pianist Alexi Tuomarila on another thoroughly enjoyable and convincing album.
