The wonderful NDR Bigband provides the most glorious backing for Norma Winstone, rich and sumptuous with the most beautiful sounds all vividly captured on disc.
Norma too is at her best on a programme including Joni Mitchell’s Blue, Caravan and a tricky version of the Jitterbug Waltz. It’s a strictly limited edition.
