The Warsaw Philharmonic Choir and Orchestra conducted by Antoni Wit perform a range of choral works by Brahms.
The album includes the solemn Begrabnisgesang (Funeral Song), the urgent and volatile Schicksaslied and the Alto Rhapsody; one of the greatest works for contralto performed with dynamism by Ewa Wolak.
Highly recommended.
