GEEKY teenager Dave Lizewski (Johnson) buys a wetsuit off the internet and becomes the heroic Kick-Ass. The mysterious Big Daddy (Cage) and Hit Girl (Moretz) answer the call to arms, helping Dave to thwart kingpin Frank D'Amico (Strong). When D'Amico decides to fight back with the help of his son Chris (Mintz-Plasse), Dave is suddenly at the centre of a real life battle between good and evil.
Based on the comic written by Mark Millar and John S Romita Jr, Kick-Ass is an incendiary, fast-paced jaunt though the Big Apple in the company of two motherless youngsters, who discover their strength behind the masks of their alter egos.

KIM Miller (Preston) drops off her two kids – Ronnie (Cyrus) and younger brother Jonah (Coleman) – with her estranged husband Steve (Kinnear) for the summer.
The girl’s summer looks a great deal brighter when she meets fellow misfit Blaze (Chaikin) and falls for the charms of hunk Will Blakelee (Hemsworth). However, a jealous rival for Will’s affections (Ordway) and a terrible secret harboured by Will’s mechanic pal Scott (Beals) cast a dark shadow over the picture postcard community.

SOCIAL worker Emily Jenkins (Zellweger) and Detective Mike Barron (McShane) discover Keith Sullivan (Rennie) and his wife Margaret (OMalley) attempting to roast their cherubic ten-year-old daughter Lillith (Ferland) in the oven. Of course Emily breaks all of rules and takes the girl home where this ludicrous supernatural yarn presents us with yet another demonic killer storyline.
