AS a father of two young boys, sanctuaries are few and far between at home.

And that’s where books like this come into their own. Some might call them coffee table tomes, but, as I do not possess such a piece of furniture, I prefer to house them in the little boys’ room.

World Motor Sport Records 2011, which is compiled by Bruce Jones, is ideal for dipping into. There are plenty of action photos of motorsport throughout the decades and nuggets of bite-sized information.

Featuring Formula One, World Rally Championship, NASCAR, Indycar and Le Mans 24-hours achievements, this is a fitting addition to anyone’s motorsport library.
