Strangely, listening to the latest faceless slice of pop fluff from the US TV production line has made me quite happy.
Maybe it’s just too many days shut up with claustrophobic electronica and mournful folk, but Breakout and 7 Days sound both mature and fun.
Wake Up America is breezy but wellintentioned and Fly On the Wall a positively funky take on Avril Lavigne.
