DAN Walker, a site manager based at Barratt North East’s Burton Woods development in Spennymoor, has gained official recognition for the excellence with which he runs his development by receiving a Pride in the Job Quality Award.
Dan, from Durham, was recognised for his outstanding work, determination and dedication in ensuring that the work undertaken on his site is of the highest quality and is completed in line with its schedule.
The Pride in the Job Quality Awards are the most coveted in the housebuilding industry and have been instrumental in driving up standards for 35 years.
Dan, and other site managers who received Pride in the Job Quality Awards, will now move forward to the final round of the competition, which will select the best site manager in Britain.
“The site manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring our teams deliver high quality new homes and we are delighted that our investment in training and developing the very best staff has been recognised in this way,” said Scott Lester, Construction Director at Barratt Homes North East.
